$840 to overhaul a powershift transmission that had that much damage is not possible. The fluid wasn't the problem either. Basically all hydraulic oil is called trans hydraulic oil because your transmission and hydraulics use the same oil.
That’s what a lot of dealerships do.
The service records listed JD 4440.........AI story garbage.
is it a 2wd or 4wd.... too many pictures
That’s the way John Deere would do things
I would have gone back and told the previous owner about this, he could have sued the dealer and been reimbursed.
We had the same issues with John Deere. The dealer original owner was good but then he retired and his son took over. We trusted them to do the fixing and they did a terrible job. We came close to loosing everything because of John Deere. There is not one piece of JD equipment on our property.
Okay! According to this story a sales and repair company destroyed the product to get the customer to pay up more money. After popping Kennedy's head off this country turned into a Christian oriented government and Churches always scare their customers into paying more money. Now!!! Doesn't it seem strange that the corporations are more important to this country than the people who fight for their existence? It's the Church that's ruining this country. Listen to these low life people who call themselves OUR LEADERS.
The story might be true, but the photos displayed are AI. Notice how, even under the tractor the lighting is perfect? All photos have the subject perfectly centered, and the service records have very, VERY sharp printing. I’ve never seen a shop ticket with such intentional, finely formed printing. AI makes me sick. If you are going to use AI photos, please write a disclaimer. It would give more credence to the entire tale.
Three Rubber O Rings on the SS line's from the transmission Houseing to the cutch House ing broken Rubber line's Note on Case International and John Deere
Of course he didn't sue. The dealer did not perform the service for him but the previous owner. HE might have sued for the loss he took when he sold it.
I doubt this story 100%. The fluid alone costs more than that, and if the pan was filled with metal shavings, SO WAS THE ENTIRE TRANSMISSION. I'm calling AI BULLSHIT.
I heard that new J.D. equipment comes with a built in kill switch so you can't repair it yourself...is that true?
Kinda the same story with my hobby cars.dealer did not or won't fix them. The last one in the 70's was a broken distributor plate, told owner blown engine. Drove it for ten years.
so glad the new owner followed his gut 🎉🎉🎉 😮.

The original owner of the tractor should have sued the dealer for compensation for his loss. IMO
This is nonsens. AI generated nonsens existing crap. The transmission does not look that way, the tractor changes all te time...
Great job 👏 👍
He should have sued on behalf of the previous owner or given the papers for the previous owner to recoup his losses.
