I keep telling myself “yeah it’s early access there’s not much to do yet” and yet I have over 30 hours of playtime in it and it’s been like 2 days😭

The character creator is called Paramaker or PAM for short
i think live mode still has a long way to go but CAS wise and build wise it really does feel like a finished game.
I really really like how fat sits on the body in this game. I gotta live vicariously through videos because i have work to do and i KNOW i could spend days in the character creator alone 😂
The dev Q & A mentioned that some updates may require starting new saves, so don't get TOO attached.

Tammy reminds me of the long time waitress or bartender at a small town bar who knows everyone and remembers their orders. I love her already.
One thing to note with the “apartments” is you own the entire building! Not just the decorated section- so with the one you ended up settling on with the shop at the bottom and the empty second floor, you could eventually expand downwards!

ik it's not that helpful to compare paralives to sims but i feel like tammy looks more like a "real" person to me than any sims character ever has honestly
Good at nothing is a fun trait, it actually affects gameplay which is so welcome. Looking forward to this, always love a legacy challenge.

Fun fact! When choosing a home lot, if you press the three dots on the tab in the bottem left corner you'll get the option to start without a lot
I’m so excited to see the trans and/or enby characters that people will be able to create with this character creator! Like the different options for chest and bottom shape, the body sliders, body and facial hair, gender settings, all that. I’m really hoping Kayla will make some at some point!

Tammy looked so much like my mom for about 2 seconds while she was doing her eyebrows, it was wild!! Every single variation of para looks like it could be a real person, rather than a caricature ❤

The character creator means so much to me because I was FINALLY able to actually make my real body time in the game! I almost cried lol.
For someone who is not a US citizen, bananas and the empiric system are ambiguous in the same way. Like, who's feet/banana are we using to measure? a small one? a big one? an average foot/banana? if so, who do I know the size of the average foot/banana? I find it so confusing lmao
