More Insider Details Have Come Out...

Everyone complaining about the portal but let's not forget about them sunsetting almost ALL OUR VAULT several years back. I would take the portal anyday over most of my guns being unsuable. That is the only update that actually made me quit for a while.

They should make a really hard community event with really hard puzzles and the final reward is the development start of d3. But in all seriousness I think a community event would be a very good idea to send it off. The community working together for one final time, trying to beat whatever is thrown at us. Even if D3 isn’t the final reward 😅

Everyone i know who played destiny at some point is coming back for the June update. What if we hit numbers similar to the final shape numbers won't that be massive?

Now that this is coming to an end, I just wanna take a minute to say thank you to all the Guardians who made this journey so awesome over the years. Through all the raids, laughs, late nights, and memories, you all helped make this game feel like more than just a game. Much love to every one of you.

What happend to you mate? You used to love Marathon and I watched all your videos about it.

Like you, the one thing that always fueled my anger was the fact that OUR MONEY went to Marathon and not destiny. I know that's how games typically work but....its fucked that they did it while their own primary game was falling off.

Cross is just on a copium rage at this point. While many have already moved on over the news, he's still shitting in Marathon and stuck in the Anger phase

As a Warframe player, I'll come play D2 with y'all in June, and never touch Marathon. I've only played it <100 hrs, really liked the concept/story/world, but I could see from the outside how poorly it was managed and monetized. As a big Halo 1-2 fan back in the day, I think Bungie had a real gem on their hands with the Destiny IP, but kept mismanaging and fumbling it into the ground. Really sad how this all turned out. :( Anyway, what's the best D2 class to play if I really like melee and stealth? I know Hunter, but which variant?

They should have called it "Destiny Forever Or Whatever"

I think people would need to continue playing for like a month or two after the update to convince higher ups of anything. If players drop after a couple days, that just reaffirms that destiny is unsustainable. I'd say if this sizeable update showcases at least 2 months of retention, maybe that's a better sign that destiny is worth pursuing.

I think they should put 5-10 ppl on the game to “reboot” the game! Still wouldn’t change the fact that Bungie fumbled the bag. But it could generate interest back into the game. Division did this and now we getting Division 3! Also, 5:50 while Marathon itself didn’t specifically kill Destiny…. It’s for sure part of the reason! Why? Bungie was too big of a studio (employee count), that only had one game. So struggling with another title AND your flagship game?….. not good enough!
