I find Portugal strange: the flag is red and green, but the Portuguese consider their national colours to be white and blue, the colours of the House of Braganza (much like the Dutch with orange). I thought maybe Portugal's away kit would be white and blue, but it's actually not.
What about Germany? We play in white and black (the colours of the flag of Prussia) since the times of the German Empire. Only exception: East Germany played in white and blue.
