Incorrect just to clarify you do not have until the next pitch to appeal rather you have until there is another action so if there is another runner on base it may be smart to steal before they can appeal to the base the runner left early from

They do not have to wait until the ball is caught to leave. They simply have to wait until the ball is touched because if the ball had to be caught before they could leave, everyone would be playing popcorn Baseball and just bouncing it off their glove and not catching it and holding the runners, so those ball does not have to be caught and only has to be touched.

I got out for jumping over the catcher in my baseball game going home. The ball knocked out out of his glove and dropped to the ground. They call me safe, but then they called me out because I had to slide in the home. I play 13u usssa, is this an out?
