NO. A Judge DIDN'T "just dismiss it due to a lack of evidence" - the COP requested it to be dropped ON THE DAY OF THE SCHEDULED COURT APPEARANCE! ("But a court hearing scheduled for Wednesday was cancelled when the officer involved in the traffic stop requested a dismissal due to “lack of evidence,” " - from a news article) COP _knew_ he had a bad case, but was SO vindictive he kept going for maximum disruption to her life, right up until the very last minute (literally!) - what an a-hole!

There should be a penalty system against the cops for causing cases like this to go all the way to court. Its a waste of the judge's, the lady's, the court's, and thr city's time to have that ticket go through in the first place.
There needs to be a review of all the tickets he's given because if he's so blatantly corrupt to give this ticket I guarantee he's given others just as corrupt.

The cop should face charges for falsifying a police report.
When cops are found to be liars they should be fired immediately, tired of these bad positions of authority lying and harming us!
The cop has the same logic as a courier company asking people to send proof of something they have NOT RECEIVED.

The worst part is that even though the case was "Dismissed" she still had to pay a ridiculous amount of court fees and the officer got away scott free (Edit) I've been to court and have won the case just for me to be slapped with court fees that were double the cost of a B.S Ticket. (Prince William County, VA)
