34 degrees feels hotter in the UK compared to other countries because it’s more humid. If the UK was as dry as a desert like a quarter of the US, it would feel better.

Who’s gonna tell them our houses are made to keep heat in because how cold it gets during the winter and because of the bad weather we usually get built in AC was not thought as a need. Literally your closest thing to AC is the open fridge isles in Tescos and you still have to drag yourself to the Tescos 😭
